Bit of a surprise this morning to see a deer in our backyard - a little bit bigger than the rabbits and squirrels we're used to seeing! She seemed to have a bit of a limp, you can see her front left leg being rested. She had a nice breakfast on the new growth on our blackberry bush, then moved onto the cottonwood tree hanging over the side fence.
