After a long wait for finances to be sorted out, we finally took 'delivery' of our latest acquisition... a black 1966 Ford Mustang. The car had been extensively restored by a previous owner, who then ran out of time or patience, and then the car was stored for the last 10 years! All of the difficult structural work has been taken car of - now it just requires some time and some TLC (and a few miscellaneous parts) to be complete.
Delivery comprised finishing the installation of the headlights (helping the previous owner), boxing up the rest of the parts not on the car, and then driving very carefully for 30 miles to get back home.
Driving very carefully because...there were no seatbelts...and the indicators stopped working halfway home!
Now we begin the rebuild!
